Emergency Notification System
The Sage School has implemented the Blackboard Connect Notification Service. Blackboard Connect allows us to send a telephone and/or email message to you, providing important information regarding emergencies. Blackboard Connect will also be used along with our current methods of notification (website banner, TV and radio announcements, etc) for school closings or delayed opening due to inclement weather.
Within minutes of an emergency, school administrators can use Blackboard Connect to deliver a single, clear message to the students’ parents or guardians by landline telephone, cell phone, and/or e-mail.
What you need to know about receiving calls sent through Blackboard Connect
- Caller ID will display The Sage School’s main number: 508-543-9619
- There may be a slight delay before the message plays; please do not hang up
- Blackboard Connect will leave a message on answering machines or voicemails
- If the Blackboard Connect message stops playing, press any key 1-9 on your phone and the entire message will replay
