Staff
Our staff consists of teachers from The Sage School and the surrounding community who are certified educators and experienced leaders. They are selected for their passion for teaching children and their commitment to lifelong learning. For the safety of all participants, CPR and first-aid certified individuals are on staff.
Dates & Time
Summer Sage runs for four weeks in July to the beginning of August. Parents are able to choose the weeks and topics that align with personal schedules and childrens’ interests. It is not mandatory to sign up for all four weeks.
Our day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.. For an additional fee, we offer an extended day program that runs from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and again from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Participants enjoy organized games, outdoor play, and free play led by counselors. Pick up may occur at any time during this extended period.
Enrichment Session
Students spend their mornings immersed in topics that follow the weekly theme. Lessons and projects will be taught using an integrated approach, incorporating math, literacy, history, science, art, music, technology, and more. Students will utilize the school’s many resources, including our Science Lab, Media Room and computers in order to engage fully in the learning experience.
Enrichment Activities
What is a summer program without sports and games, dance, and arts and crafts? The afternoon will provide an opportunity for children to apply what they learned in the morning session through non-competitive physical activity, outdoor exploration, and creative activities lead by our experienced staff.
