Extended Day & Vacation Programs
At The Sage School, we recognize that our families have various needs for childcare before and after the school day, as well as on select days when school is not in session. We offer several programs in order to meet the needs of these families.
Before School Care
The Before School Care Program is designed to provide childcare for those students who need to be dropped off prior to the opening of the school building. This option is available all days that school is in session beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Aftercare
The Sage School’s Aftercare Program is designed to provide childcare after school or at the end of afterschool activities or clubs. The program includes arts and crafts, board games, and physical activity, either outside or in the gym.
Supervised Study
Supervised Study is an afterschool program designed to provide a quiet environment in which our students in grades three through eight can study and complete their daily homework assignments. If a student completes all assignments, they are permitted to join Aftercare.
Vacation Day Care – Staycation
In addition to before and afterschool programs, The Sage School offers a “Staycation Program” which provides childcare on select days when school is not in session, and also during one week of the March break. Please note that enrollment in this program is limited and early registration is recommended to secure your child’s placement.
For the 2014-15 school year, the Staycation Program is available on the following dates:
- Friday, October 17
- Monday, November 10
- Tuesday, February 17
- Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13
- Tuesday, April 21
- Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12
