Announcement from Tim Monroe
To The Sage School Community:
I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to lead The Sage School for the last four years. In many ways, the experience has been the most deep and meaningful of my professional life. Sage is an amazing school and a wonderful community. It is a place with a strong sense of mission and an extremely passionate faculty and staff. There is a feeling when you walk in the door that is unusual. Sage has a particular sense of energy and community. This vibe comes primarily from the students but it is nurtured and encouraged by the adults in the building who give so much of themselves to match and even exceed the spark that comes from the students. I felt this from the first moment I walked in the door in December of 2007, and it was a privilege to be a part of it.
While I love The Sage School, and I always will, I decided the 2011-2012 school year will be my last as Head of School. I will still be connected with the Sage community as our Board of Trustees begins the formal search process for a new Head of School. In the meantime, I hope you will all lend your strong support to Sarah Kotwicki as Acting Head of School.
Sincerely,
Timothy S. Monroe
