Sage First Grader Wins 7&Under USGA Kids Tournament
Victoria, a first grader at Sage, has been participating in the 7 years & under category of USGA Kids Golf this spring. Playing nine holes per tournament, she has consistently come in second place. The championship round was held the weekend of May 19 at The Glen Ellen Country Club in Millis, MA. With a 9 stroke lead, Victoria parred 4 holes and shot a personal best of 50 to win First Place and a Gold Medal. In addition to winning the tournament, she also won a trophy for Player of the Year and an invitation to the Nationals in Pinehurst, NC.
