The Sage School Theater Presents Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr!
The Sage School Theater proudly presents Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. for one performance only! Saturday, February 28 at 4:00 p.m. at the Foxboro Orpheum Theater. With lyrics written by Tony-winning songwriter Lynn Ahrens, Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr. is based on the Emmy-winning 1970’s cartoon show. A limited number of seats may be available at the door the day of the show at $10 per adult ticket and $5 for students. All tickets are general seating.
The Sage School Theater Company consists of 30 students in grades 5-8 who are members of the school’s Afterschool Theater program. This program is designed for students who are interested in studying theater more in depth under the guidance of Arts Department Chair and Performing Arts Teacher, Danielle Bazinet and Music Teacher Ian Garvie.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our students to participate in a full scale musical at the middle school level,” says Danielle Bazinet. “Having the opportunity to work with the Orpheum. Theater is a wonderful introduction for them that may lead to future performing opportunities in secondary school and community-theater.”
