Summer Sage 2012

By all accounts, Summer Sage 2012 was a huge success!  During the first week we got in touch with our inner naturalist.  We learned about recycling, made and wrote in nature journals and explored the outdoors.   Week two we created our own communities.  We discussed what makes a community and used recycled materials to build our own cities.  The third week we became detectives.  We explored alibis and motives and used our analytical skills to solve “the case of the missing bearded dragon.”  The final week, Sage was converted into a magical academy.  Our wizards used science to create potions and their imagination to build a magical world of their own.
